Capable of accommodating two adults in comfort, it is handcrafted in the tradition of the original hammocks made on Pawleys Island, South Carolina since the 1880s using Captain John Joshua Ward's original design. UV-protected for over 1,000 hours of exposure, the hammock dries up to three times faster than traditional cotton. Handcrafted seasoned oak spreader bars provide stability, and the hammock accommodates two adults comfortably. Hardware is zinc-plated heavy-duty steel , and hooks and chains are provided with instructions for hanging. |
