Each question describes two very different behaviors with a seven point scale separating the two. You simply need to click on one of the buttons that represents how close the gift recipient is to the particular behavior. If the behavior describes them perfectly, select the button directly under the behavior. If the behavior is close but perhaps the statement is too strong, then select a point closer to the middle.
Try to avoid selecting the middle button too frequently. This indicates, more likely than not, you have not observed the person enough to make a judgment. If this is the case more than 4 or 5 times, make note of the questions and finish the assessment. If the kuladoo report does not represent your recipient well, then observe them, reflect on past experience, talk to them, anything that enriches your experience of who they really are – and return to repeat the discovery. Remember, no answer is an absolute. For example, a person may be forced into routines by their particular job requirements but they would really prefer to be more dynamic. You should choose the response that best reflects who they really are – not what the circumstance dictates. Use your instincts and gut feelings about your gift recipient – they are usually right!
